The ONLY way I can see this happening is if there is a major national disaster (economic or ecological). Even these have no stopped even one season from playing. After the assassination of Pres. Kennedy, his family asked the NFL commissioner to continue playing. After Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans, even the Saints didn't miss a beat.
I cannot envision a realistic scenario that would bring even one league to a season long stand-still, much less all of them. You've got me thinking though. Good question.
