What are some things which are totally selfish and totally unselfish at the same time?

Signing a DNR (Do not resuscitate)  form when you are sick. You don't want to suffer anymore because it's painful when they revive you every single time and you want people you love to have a life because you don't want them to spend their lives with you at the hospital.

Genuinely leaving someone when you are in a relationship for their own good. (Sometimes you leave people when you can't handle them and tell them it's for their own good. Of course, yes. They deserve someone who can handle them in a nicer way.)
